PCIRC’s annual Thanksgiving Basket assembly and distribution.

Last November, PCIRC handed out over 300 baskets to needy families across Plumas County. Baskets were distributed from all four PCIRC Resource and Family Wellness Center sites: Portola, Quincy, Greenville and Chester. Contributions to these food baskets were made possible by generous donations by various agencies, entities and individuals in Plumas County – and beyond.

Andrew Woodruff of Plumas County Department of Public Health conducts a “Train the Trainer” with PCIRC’s staff on Narcan /Naloxone use and distribution for clients.

PCIRC staff was trained as “Train the Trainers” regarding Naloxone/Narcan. Each PCIRC Wellness Center will be distributing Naloxone/Narcan kits free to the public upon request.
