24/7 Plumas-Sierra Crisis Line Plumas Crisis Intervention & Resource Center (PCIRC) began in 1983 in response to a community need to develop and maintain a 24/7 Crisis Line for those in crisis in Plumas and Sierra Counties.
The program started in the small garage of the then Executive Director and shortly thereafter relocated to a site in a historic building on Main Street in Quincy. Shortly thereafter, PCIRC moved into its current site in the old Cadillac showroom also located on Main Street & Buchanan Streets in Quincy.
PCIRC utilizes community volunteers and staff to maintain the Crisis Line who are available 24/7. Crisis Line calls are received from local, regional and nationwide residents seeking program support, peer counseling, resource and referral information and guidance to help solve their individual or family emergencies.
You may call the Plumas-Sierra Crisis Line at: 877-757-0029 or 530-283-4333.

The Crisis Line is partially funded through a partnership with PRS and Sierra County Behavioral Health.
